Island Mystery: Mountains And Hiking

{Island Mystery is a series in which I give you clues about the mysterious island paradise that I am living on.}

There are a lot of  beautiful and magical mountains on my island. A few locals live in the mountains, and hiking is a regular activity for tourists and locals.

I once lived at the foot of one of the well- known mountains with a nature trail in a very rustic setting. It has an elevation above sea level of approximately 400 meters.

My first time hiking to the top of that mountain was smooth. Wish I could say the same thing about my second trip!

I got to the top with my pride in tact. But, when I was close to completing my journey back, my feet started moving on their own. I tumbled over and rolled to the bottom! Thank goodness I was already close to the foot of the mountain.

My pride was altered a little, but my bones were in good shape!

Happy Wednesday ♥♥

    I live in the mountains and read above about you falling down one when hiking. Darn that slippery dirt etc. I've almost done that. I'll be back when I have a little more time to look around.
