Where Are You Right Now?

I am so very grateful for all of you who visit this blog. We are miles apart, but I look forward to your visits and comments. I also love visiting your blogs and seeing what you are getting up to. It is like having a good friend living nearby. I so very much love you and appreciate you.

I like to write about great food, pretty decor and frilly stuff. But I also like to connect with you on a deeper level. We all have life going on daily... Whether or not we like it. Good things happen in our lives, and we all have challenges too. This leads me to some questions for you :)

1) What personal project have you been working on lately? Weight loss, learning to take things easy, self acceptance...?

2) What is one thing that is really bothering you right now? Finances, kids, health...?

3)Where are you in life right now? Seeking a job, retirement, traveling...?

4) What is one thing that you are happy about...? Your hair, your marriage, your single life, job...?

I hope you have a wonderful day.

Love,
Summer

  1. I am a quilter so I am always working on quilts always more than one at a time. It is my artistic outlet. I also work on remodeling projects in the house and yard, I have lost some strength over the years so I have to do it slowly and so does my husband - I wish we could work faster at it then we do. We both love traveling but because he is doing a contract job right now (his last) we have not been able to do much the last couple of years - he retires in February so then - health permitting we will travel more. The main thing that bothers me right now is worries about health - we both have some issues - mine is chronic and I have lived with it for many years - his is due to being overweight and came on the medical problems he has came on rather suddenly after years of neglecting his health.

  4. I have been in Weight Watchers for quite some time, if I didn't goof off on it, I would be doing much better lol. One thing bothering me at this exact minute, is I am trying to pass a kidney stone (I am NOT kidding!) Was at Urologist today for xrays, he put me on an antibiotic (stuck stones can cause infection), I took pain meds and am hoping this sucker comes out already! Another thing worrying me more than bothering me is finances, but that will hopefully get better now that my husband is back substitute teaching since school has started again. I am always looking for part time work (from home).........what am I happy about? That I don't live near where the hurricanes are, but...I am DEEPLY worried about my brother and his wife who live in Miami and my sister-in-law who lives in Plantation. xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody

  5. Right now hubby and I are starting up another business. If this one proves successful, I will be able to retire sooner than later. Keeping my fingers crossed. The only thing bothering me right now is that I have family and friend living in both Florida and Georgia and hoping hurricane Irma moves away from them. Janice

  6. My main concern right now is my cat, Phoebe. She has been losing a lot of weight and has kidney disease. I am thankful that this week has been better for her though.

  9. My days are spent in a high level stress job...blogging is my creative outlet where I attempt to find magic in the crazy everyday of life...keeping kids on track in school, life and their health is up on the list...and working to spend quality time with my family...life throws curve balls and can be hard but is also beautiful.
